Imagine how hard I fell out when she asked me to dye a special colorway for gala attendees. In my process, when I am developing a new colorway with a yarn shop or a designer, I like to have a lot of back and forth. I want to make sure I’m nailing the vibe, not just the colors. But when I sent pics of my color trials for feedback, Andrea said “I trust you.” I checked in again later, after a few tweaks, and again, “I trust you.” Y’all. Is that not the greatest compliment a dyer could ever receive?
